Summer Reading Program:  Each summer the Library sponsors a library program for students in grades 4-8th. Registration Form Found  HERE.

Summer Reading Program dates and times:

Friday, June 5 - Pick up a Scavenger Hunt sheet at the Library and hunt around the City Square and Park for items. Turn in completed Scavenger Hunt sheet to the Library for a prize!

Friday, June 12 from 10:00 am-noon T-Shirts and Sharpies - Please bring a white or light-colored t-shirt to color with permanent markers and "dye" the colors using rubbing alcohol.

Friday, June 19 - Pick up a Scavenger Hunt sheet at the Library and hunt around the Villisca Cemetery for items. Turn in completed Scavenger Hunt sheet to the Library for a prize!

Friday, June 26 from 10:00 am-noon Making Kool-aid jelly - Please bring 2 packages of regular unsweetened Kool-Aid drink mix. You will have 2 pint jars of jelly to take home afterwards.

Friday, July 10 from 10:00-noon - Program designed by participants that completed one of the programs this summer.

STEM Cart Make & Take Projects will also be available through the month of June.

Movie Day: The library holds movie days throughout the year.  Come enjoy free popcorn and drink provided by Library staff. Let's enjoy the movie! Dates yet to be determined.
