The Library will be closed on Wednesday, July 31st, so that staff can attend training. Thank you.

Don't forget that kids can still earn beads for their necklaces for the rest of the summer. Check in at the Library with Mrs. Herzberg for details.

Look for an electronic survey for Summer Reading Program, coming soon!

Book Club is taking a summer vacation. Read a new release or a new genre. Book Club will resume Sept. 3rd at 1:30pm. Join us! We will share what we have been reading this summer, and planning our calendar of books to read for Book Club.

SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens (or anyone who enjoys books for Young Adults). Returning April 25, 2019, SYNC will give away two complete audiobook downloads a week - pairs of high interest titles, based on weekly themes. Sign up for email or text alerts and be first to know when new titles are available to download at www.audiobooksync.com. Check out under the TEEN PROGRAM tab.

Please complete the registration and permission forms before your child attends a Summer Reading Program. Thank you :)

Click the READING Tab at the top and select Using BRIDGES folder for directions on how to check out an eBook or audiobook from our library :)

We had a "BLAST" in the Heritage Days Parade, July 6th

Summer Reading Program Water Fight on July 10th was cancelled due to weather that was possibly cold & rainy. First time we ever had to cancel.

Instead, we met in the Villisca Community Building and played various games, the parachute, and wacky relays. We also shot off Coke and Mentos!

Hey Kids! (and Parents)

Here's a great website to check out anytime from the National Center for Family Literacy. It has a free, online program with weekly interactive activities. Check it out, have some fun, then go read a book :)
